We had a perfect day to go out and ride. Based on last wednesday’s ride, we were expecting some snow, we did come across some, but not near as much as our last ride. There were a couple hike a bike sections, but 90% of the trails were rideable by all, skinny and fat tires. And yes we did have our first Skinny Tire rider of the season, and this goes to Mr. Senn!!!! We all had our fat bikes ready to go, and then there is Awesome Senn with his Carbon Fibre Cannondale….
We ended up just riding the Stick and Lollipop trail, which were in great shape. Did some minor clean up, but nothing too crazy needed to be pulled off the trails, so they are in decent shape for sure. By Wednesday, we should be 95% there on singletrack….
All in all, we had a great ride, one more ride on the fat bikes then away they go for the summer…. The next months rides will most likely be at Mansfield for Wednesday’s due to the wet nature Mono will be in.
Fat Tire Rating: 4.99 out of 5 (We need 100% singletrack to make it a 5 out of 5)
Skinny Tire Rating: 4 out of 5 (I’m assuming, I didn’t ask Senn, but he’s awesome)
