We had a great turnout for a great ride at Ravenshoe this past Sunday. Ravenshoe is a great place for any rider to learn and to practice on bridges, and roots. There isn’t a lot of climbing which is nice.. But there were a lot of mosquitoes out and bug spray was needed for sure.
Our ride split into 2 groups, 1 to do a bit more of the technical riding, the other group for more fun flowy trails. The day was a great day, with a bit of a breeze and sun, we enjoyed about 12km of riding. Both Emily and Karin were riding great, and we were able to coax Craig over a few stunts.
At the end of the day both groups had a great ride. Below is a photo of the trail map, so you have an idea of what we ended up riding.
After the ride we did have to make a quick stop at Dairy Queen for an nice icecream…. Definitely worth it. .
