This past weekend was another great day out in Dufferin Forest!
The weather was amazing, but also the trail conditions were fantastic. Over the course of the day, the sun made several appearances, which warmed you up, but you never really thought about the temperatures due to the trails and how much fun you were having.
Overall, there was next to no snow on the actual trail itself. There was snow in the forest, just the trail surface was packed leaves. This gave some really good traction for sure. A good chunk of folks were out on Fat Bikes, but for anyone heading out, you do not need them yet for sure. Put on a set of aggressive tires if you have them, and go have some fun.
The trails themselves are in fantastic condition, They will be logging Ken’s trail, do not know the condition of that as of yet, but once I know I will pass along for sure.
Yesterday we just did the stick, lollipop and ridge trail, which works out to around a 16km boot through the forest. This loop is in absolute great shape, worth the trip to Dufferin for sure.
